Green Texture [Need help pls]

Hello everyone!

I have recently started importing buildings from newer expansions to wotlk and I have had some success however there are still some textures missing and I have no idea where to find them ?

I'm going to show you some pictures of object's textures that I can't find.

These green flames should not be here and with my knowledge green texture like these means that there's just something missing ?

Here is another picture:

As you can see in this picture, it looks like my mom's cooking ( I'm kidding. My mom's cooking is amazing ) and i do not want this ewwww  texture! ? So Here comes my question and I guess you already knew what I was going to ask...

Where can i find these missing textures?

Now before you say:

"Lol why don't you search for it at its expansion folder blah blah"

"Did you get all the textures from dungeons and textures etc..."

Because I almost added everything in my custom patches ( I didn't add everything )

I have all Cata, Panda, Wod and legion objects given by our mighty saviour @Poisonleaf ( I salute you, sir or Ma'am )

And you are probably thinking "wow you must be noob if you can't find it" Well I'm glad we all know I'm noob now soooo...

Can anyone assist me in finding these missing textures.

Thank you for your time and your patience to read this!

Happy Modding ?

L.

What model is that?

526866 world/expansion04/doodads/pandaren/stove/pa_stove_open_01.m2

? And you have

world/generic/goblin/passivedoodads/kezan/items/tooncloud64b.blp

    world/expansion04/doodads/pandaren/stove/pa_stove_01.blp
    world/expansion04/doodads/pandaren/stove/pa_table_arc_01.blp
    world/expansion04/doodads/pandaren/stove/pa_soup_01.blp

? Does it have particles https://wowdev.wiki/M2#Texture_definitions with https://wowdev.wiki/M2#ParticleColorIndex non-zero?

  • Thanks 1

how did you fix the last one? I'm not going to look at all the models for you.

That's okay, sir. I know most people won't give their full attention to a silly topic like this and I am grateful for your help

So now to answer your question:

I fixed the last one by adding the tooncloud from the goblins at world/generic/passivedoodads/goblin etc... as you have mentioned ( you are saviour of men)

I have added all the new generic objects/textures into patch and I have added the particles folder into my patch as well and I am afraid it still did not fix my problem. I mean I COULD add everything into my game client, but I do not want a 35 GB game.

I appreciate your help but I will search for my problem. Thank you for your time. Merry Hallowgiving.

You can get the filenames from the model itself. It is as simple as opening the file in notepad and looking for blp.

I fixed my problem by just changing the brazier into another working one since I have added all the blp's to what the model needs but it still doesn't wanna fix it. I used model viewer>Export texture where i then checked all the blp's for the object but I have added all those blp's.

So i just changed the model's appearance and it kinda fixed my problem. Thank you for your help =)))))
